The Batman: Robert Pattinson Is Back On Sets; Shoot Resumes In London After Lead Star Recovers From COVID-19
Reportedly, Robert Pattinson tested positive for Coronavirus a few days ago and the shooting of his film The Batman came to a halt
A few days ago, reports emerged that actor Robert Pattinson has tested positive for Coronavirus. Following this, reportedly, the shooting of his film The Batman had come to a halt. Though the studio or the actor never confirmed the same, it was speculated that it was Robert who is COVID-19 positive. It was after months that the shooting of this film had kick-started. Earlier, it was due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic and the following lockdown, the makers had to stop the shooting for the film. And later, it was due to the lead hero Robert Pattinson testing positive for the virus, the shooting had to be stopped. However, good news is that the team of The Batman has resumed the shoot again.
Now as per Variety, Robert has received green signal to go back on the sets and start filming. He had to be in isolation for 14-days but has now recovered. A spokesperson for Warner Bros. stated, "Following a hiatus for COVID-19 quarantine precautions, filming has now resumed on The Batman in the U.K."
It was in August that the teaser of The Batman featuring Robert Pattinson was released. It was at the DC FanDome event that the teaser was unveiled. Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne managed to impress one and all.
Apart from Pattinson, the film will also see Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Jayme Lawson, Colin Farrell and more. The film was supposed to release in June 2021, however, reportedly it has been pushed further due to the delay in shooting of the film.
